Mountains in the Crowsnest Pass valley aren't the only things that will be thunderin' during Rum Runner Days weekend.
Mike Grabow and special guests Greg Gomola and Tim Mulgrew will be burning up the stage at Rum Runner Pub in Coleman on Friday, July 16.
Grabow is a travelling musician who spends most of his time in Mexico but returns to Lethbridge in the summers.
He'll be bringing his slack-key guitar style back for the summer and has teamed up with Gomola and Mulgrew for special gigs around the area.
According to Gomola, the three guitarists will play a little bit of everything from rock to soul to folk to everything in between.
"It'll be modern with a touch of classic," said Gomola. "Both Mike and I write our own songs so there'll be original music but lots of covers too."
To break it up, Gomola said he'd also be playing hand drums or jembe, an African single-headed drum.
