A report including financial information is being prepared and will be presented to council on Sept. 18.

On behalf of the Rum Runner Days committee, Councillor Emile Saindon asked how and where council wanted the final report and budget presented to them.

He said the committee would be meeting in the next few weeks to finalize all venue expenses and revenues and will then meet with other services such as RCMP, EMS, Protective Services and Rescue to "debrief on all aspects of the weekend".

These items will also be part of the report, he said, and they expect to have it finalized by early September.

It was agreed the report would be presented at the Governance & Priorities Committee meeting on Sept. 18.
