Our municipal council is in a conundrum. Spray Lake Sawmills went before council to present two options on getting their logs hauled out of the harvested area near Atlas Road. The first involves driving up to 25 loads a day through a residential area.

Dear Editor, How ludicrous is Councillor David Cole’s suggestion that Pass citizens “should raise holy hell” about the Spray Lake Sawmill issue! Citizens have been “raising holy hell”, both verbal and written, for many months about the Crowsnest Centre issue but have been ignored.

A slightly windy Saturday was a proper setting for the first of a horse schooling show series at Windy Lindy’s Stables this past weekend, June 27. With about 10 participants in various classes through the day, stables owner and manager Carmen Linderman said the day was a complete success.

A while ago, someone complained to me that they thought people were getting dumber. They said they’d noticed a trend over the years that people just didn’t seem as smart as they once were. Maybe it was all that mindless reality TV people watch, they said.
